Chattanooga Housing Authority officials said arrangements are being made for the agency to offer 35 units at Jaycee Towers I on the Westside for low-income public housing.
CHA is to enter into an agreement with Dominium in a deal in which the private firm will receive a loan.
Also, CHA officials said a number of new units are being readied at Emma Wheeler Homes. Seventeen of those units have been set up for tenants.
The CHA occupancy rate stands at 97.46 with a goal of topping 98 percent.
Both Chairman Eddie Holmes and Vice Chairman Jim Sattler missed Tuesday's board meeting.
They were rewarded with new leadership terms.
