Leslie J. Bowman, 73, of Crossville, died on Monday, January 21, 2013. 

He was of the Baptist faith. 

Preceding Leslie in death were his wife, Evelyn Troglin Bowman; and two brothers, Eddie and Cub Bowman. 

Survivors include companion of 15 years, Cheryl Parham, Crossville; daughters, Tammy Cranfill, Mindy Simmons, both of Pikeville; stepchildren Angela Maynard, Crossville; Tammy Calhoun, Fl.; Daniel Maynard, Pikeville; Keith Maynard, Ohio; grandchildren, Leslie (Matt) Lockhart; Jesse (EiRon) Simmons, all of Pikeville; great-grandchildren, Taylor and Ike Lockhart, Zeth Dishman, Jack and Luke Simmons; sisters Linda Phillips, Mary Hurst, and Kate Lagray; brother David Bowman; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 

A private family memorial will be held at a later date.

Betty Faye Williamson, 54, of Copperhill, died on May 16, 2013.  She was born in Salisbury, N..,C and raised in Chattanooga. She worked at Animal Clinic East for 12 years and was a big animal lover. Man Stabbed To Death After Argument

A Chattanooga man was stabbed to death after an argument on Friday night. At approximately 11 p.m., Chattanooga Police responded to a stabbing at 101 E 20 th St. where they found the victim, Alexis Lewis, 51, lying on the walkway with a fatal stab wound to his chest.
