Pat Hagan For City Council District 1

  • Wednesday, January 23, 2013

The District 1 race for City Council has four very good candidates running. The incumbent, Deborah Scott, will leave big shoes to fill. Mrs. Scott did a great job trying to take care of our tax dollars.

There is one candidate who might be a little different from the other three. Pat Hagan might be called a maverick, a nomad, a liberal, but he says what is on his mind. Not one to mince his words, Pat Hagan will ask the questions that beg to be answered concerning our tax dollars and how this beautiful city should be governed.

For instance, why is the city of Chattanooga and Hamilton County considering spending $4 million for a shooting range for the police? Really?

Pat Hagan is a native of Chattanooga and graduated from City High in 1968. He served four years in the U.S. Navy and is retired from TVA after 32 years. No other candidate has run so many miles in Chattanooga. He knows it, he loves it.
