Fundraiser For City Council Candidate Chris Anderson Is Jan. 31

Lee Davis, Stuart James, Jerry Tidwell, Adam Izell and the Tennessee Democratic Party Chair Candidate Dave Garrison will host a fundraiser for Chris Anderson on Jan. 31 at 5:30 p.m.

Mr. Anderson is running for Chattanooga City Council District 7.

The event will be at the Law Offices of James, Goins, Carpenter & Tidwell, at 817 Broad St., Second Floor. 

The suggested donation is $100  Refreshments will be provided.

EPB Says It Did Not Overbill The City; Says City Got $685,877 Break

EPB officials said Tuesday that an exhaustive audit of its street light contract with the city showed that it did not overbill the city. Instead, it said it found that the city was underbilled $685,877. EPB said it only goes back one year on errors so the amount owed by the city would be $178,314.
