William Jackson

William F. "Bill" Jackson, 89, of East Brainerd, died on Thursday, January 24, 2013.

Bill retired from Florida Power and Light and was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church in Dayton Beach, Fla.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and Air Force.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Hoyal and Loma Jackson; brother, Hoyal Jr.;  sister, Virginia Stephens and his son, William F. Jackson, Jr.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Kathryn Jackson;  daughter, Sandra (Ron) Harvley; grandchildren, Paul Harvley and Kimberly (Dan) Friebis; great-granddaughter, Kyrstin Friebis all of Daytona Beach, Fla.;  three sisters, Gladys Sameulson, Mary Young and Joyce Morton all of Chattanooga; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, Jan. 27, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Harold McClure officiating. Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Chattanooga.
