John McFadden

John D. McFadden, 89, of Chattanooga, died on Thursday, January 24, 2013.

He was a graduate of Red Bank High School, class of 1942. Through his career, he had worked at Combustion and Mueller Company and retired from 3M. He was a member of Red Bank Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorris and Irene McFadden; and brother, Stewart McFadden.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Dolores Hughes McFadden; uncle, Charles Edward Murray; cousin, Joyce Murray Freeland; sister-in-law, Beatrice McFadden; and niece, Alisa Lovas.

Graveside services will be 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 26, in Hamilton Memorial Gardens with Reverend Bert Jones officiating.

Visitation is from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on Saturday, at Lane Funeral Home, 601 Ashland Terrace, 877-3524.
