Three leaders of the Bradley County NAACP traveled to Washington D.C. for the presidential inauguration this week.
While there, the three had the opportunity to visit the King Memorial. With the assistance of Senator Lamar Alexander’s office, the three enjoyed the historic inauguration from the coveted Northwest section on capitol grounds as President Obama took the oath and spoke to the nation.
All three were humbled and grateful for having a spot where they could be part of history.
