Geneva Jordan Bryant, 82, of Dalton, GA, passed away Friday, January 25, 2013 at Ridgewood Manor Health Care Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Bryant; father, Taft Jordan; mother, Ella Mae Jordan; and brother-in-law, Alton Cady.

She was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church.

She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Sharon & Kenneth Fetzer; sisters & brothers-in-law, Marlene Cady of Dalton, Elaine & George Bennett of Ringgold and Judy & Rusty Entrikin of Franklin Square, OH; brothers & sisters-in-law, Herman & Jeanette Jordan of Dalton, Dewayne & Diane Jordan and Dwight Jordan, all of Ohio; grandchild and wife, Jared & Adrienne Hedden; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

The funeral service to honor the life of Geneva Bryant will be held Monday January 28, at 1 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Stacey Hensley, Dr. Rodger Whorton and Dr. Levoyd Whitton officiating. Burial will be in Good Hope Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be: Bruce Phillips, Bill Henderson, Norris Garner, Rick Pippin, Gene Stone and Isreal Maney.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, January 27 from 4-8 p.m. 

Funeral arrangements are by Julian Peeples Funeral Home, Pleasant Grove Chapel, Dalton.

Police Call Incident At Hamilton Place Mall "Aggravated Riot"; One Juvenile Injured During Stampede
