Bill Russell Howard, 50, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, died on January 25, 2013.  

He worked for Norfolk-Southern for 30 years.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Beda Ruth Howard.

Bill is survived by his wife, Priscilla Howard; daughter, Angela Howard; sons, Jason Howard and Michael Howard; father; Freddie Howard; and sisters, Ruthie Howard and Mahalia Horne.

He loved his family and his family will miss the love and care he provided.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 2, at 11 a.m. in Quitman, Ga., at the Mount Hope Baptist Church.  Burial will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery, Quitman, Ga.

The viewing will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 29, after noon, and the family will receive visitors from 6–7 p.m. at the John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.

Gretchen Rossi, 67, of Flintstone, Georgia, passed away on December 28, 2016. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, and ex-husband, John Rossi. She is survived by her only child, Anthony Rossi, of Flintstone. Gretchen was a deli-bakery manager for BILO Food Store for 18 years, retiring in 2014 due to her failing health and disabilities.  ... James Carrel Dodson, Sr., 55, of East Ridge, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, January 16, 2017. He was a resident of the Chattanooga area and was of the Baptist faith. County Commission Votes 8-1 To Deny Permit For Controversial Bakewell Firing Range
