Baylor Verve’ Dance Concert Set For Wednesday-Saturday

Baylor's concert dance company, Verve’, will present its 21st annual concert Wednesday-Friday at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday at 2 p.m.  The Baylor Backers will host a reception following the Saturday performance.

The company of 35 dancers will be joined by Baylor saxophone player Michael Shi. Featured in this year’s concert are works by student and professional choreographers. 

The concert will take place at the Roddy Theater on Baylor’s campus. Admission is free. For information, contact Karen Smith at 267-8506, ext.

A former Hamilton County corrections officer pleaded no contest on Monday to charges that he got time off from work and donations from co-workers after he faked having cancer.
