Chattanooga's Two Music Clubs Have Joint Concert Jan. 20

 A joint concert featuring members of MacDowell and Chattanooga Music Clubs will be held at UTC Cadek Hall, Sunday, Jan. 20, at 2:30 p.m.

This is an annual event with not only instrumentalists but also vocalists performing.  The group includes Jay Craven and Jim Martin, clarinet and piano;  Bruce Ashton, piano; Floy Wang, viola; Margaret Ann Randolph and Helen Stout, two piano duo; Jim Bailiff, tenor; Laurie Eismeier, soprano; and Jeff Roueche, oboe.   

The public is invited to attend, at no charge.

Erlanger Health System reported substantial growth in revenue and effective cost management for the third quarter. Former County Jailer Pleads "No Contest" In Cancer Faking Case

A former Hamilton County corrections officer pleaded no contest on Monday to charges that he got time off from work and donations from co-workers after he faked having cancer.
