Bertha E. Reynolds, 95, of Chattanooga, died on Thursday, January 3, 2013.

Mrs. Reynolds was born in Cherokee County, Ala., to Grover and Josie Haggard.  She was a member of Tiftonia Church of Christ for more than 60 years and was a loving and dedicated mother and wife.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude W. Reynolds; sons, Carl and Glen Reynolds; and daughter, Gail Sade.

Surviving are her daughters, Joyce (Ed) Schock, Barbara (Ed) Seder, Marye (Leon) Massey and Claudia Wagner; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara Ailene Haggard; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 4, and 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 5, at the funeral home with Minister John Cupp officiating. Burial will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens West in Tiftonia.

Memorial donations may be made to the Martin Boyd Christian Home, 6845 Standifer Gap Road, Chattanooga, Tn. 37421.

Arrangements are by the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory, and Florist, 404 South Moore Road.

Man Barges Into Woman's Home In MLK Neighborhood; Tries To Rape Her; Photos Of Suspect Released; Thomas Carr, 28, Is Arrested

Moccasin Bend Resident Asks City To Move Police Firing Range So He Can Open Bed And Breakfast Inn
