Juanita Teinert, 91, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, died on Thursday, January 3, 2013.
Mrs. Teinert was born in Bonham, Tex., to William and Lida Mae Cotham. She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. She and her husband lived in Independence, Mo., before moving to Chattanooga in 1989.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; and four sisters.
Surviving are her husband of 71 years, Martin Teinert; children, Linda Hammer, Roger (Jan) Teinert and Debe (Bill) Hodges; grandchildren, Sidney, Paige, Tina, Ashley and Patrick; great-grandsons, Daniel, Corey, Jeffrey and Jordyn; great-great-grandson, Brody; and five sisters.
Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 6, at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, at the funeral home with Reverend Gilbert Pingel officiating. Burial services will be private.
