Willie Evans, Jr., 70, died on December 26, 2012 at a local hospital.

Survivors include his life-partner, Charlene Elder; daughter, Sharon Brown; nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Jan. 5, at noon at Highland Cemetery.

The body will lie in state after noon on Friday, Jan. 4, at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
