Brown International Academy Hosts Community Coffee On Friday

Wednesday, January 30, 2013

Brown International Academy will host a community coffee on Friday. These events are held on the first Friday of every month and are sponsored by the Downtown Sheraton Starbucks and First things First. This month’s focus is "Dads or Father figures in the Lives of Children."

This is an opportunity for  men to gather and talk about ways to be relevant in their children’s lives. Areas such as homework, intentional play and positive encouragement will be discussed. Techniques for listening and giving advice will also be explored. All men who play a significant role in the lives of children are invited. Grandfathers, godfathers, uncles, cousins or significant male mentors are all welcome to come enjoy some great coffee and conversation.

The community coffee begins at 7:45 a.m. in the library at Brown International Academy.
