3 Meth Arrests Made By Sheriff's Department

The Hamilton County Sheriff's Department made three meth arrests overnight.

The arrests included Amanda Page Bivens, 37, of 716 Ely Road, Hixson, and Angela Cherie Bivens, 30, of 921 Ely Road, Hixson.

They are charged with initiating the manufacture of methamphine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A Ringgold man was also arrested in Hamilton County on meth charges.

Daniel Kelvin Worley, 31, is charged with initiating the manufacture of methamphine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of drugs for resale. 



Williams Fights Homeowner, Police Undeterred By Taser, K-9

Chattanooga Police said a man who violently escaped from Memorial Hospital wound up fighting police and a homeowner - undeterred by tasers, pepper spray and a K-9. Woman Says She Was Shot After Man Approached Her With Gun During Drug Deal

Lawanna Carter told police she was shot on Oct. 23 after a man approached her with a gun during a drug deal and she tried to drive away. Amear Richard, 22, of 2120 West Shepherd Road, has been arrested for attempted first-degree murder.
