Leslie “Bear” Fountain, Sr., 78, of Chattanooga, died on Monday, January 28, 2013.
He is survived by sons, Curtis Fountain and Roderick Jones; daughter, Caroline Vaught, of Chattanooga; sisters, Johnnie Mae, Synthia and Jacquline Brown of Brewton, Ala., and Lillie B. Wallace if Belleville, Ala., and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 1, in the chapel of John P. Franklin Funeral Home with John Brown officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
The body will lie in state after noon on Thursday, Jan. 31, at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
