Rex R. Dotson, Sr., 75, of Cleveland, TN, passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at his residence.
He was an avid golfer, and was an active member of the Elk’s Lodge, Cleveland Country Club, and a social member of the American Legion.
He was the son of the late Hayden and Bertha Mae Dotson of Clyde, NC; and was also preceded in death by his sister, Hellan Johnson of Clyde, NC; and two brothers, Jack and William Gayle Dotson of Cleveland.
Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Wanda Dotson; son, Rex R. Dotson, Jr., and wife Jeanine of Cleveland; three daughters, Desiree Brown and husband Ted of Hudson, FL, Trish Watson of Niota, and Theresa Vaughn and husband Ronnie of Riceville; eight grandchildren, Rex R. Dotson, III, Chris Avaritt, Ty and Taylor Brown, Zack Rayl, Gabriel Watson, Joshua Vaughn and Callie Vaughn; one great-grandchild, Avelyn Dotson; and special friends, Jerry and Carol Deal of Dalton.
There will be no services or visitation at this time.
