John Edward Kelly, 75, of Jasper, TN, died Monday, January 28, 2013 in a Chattanooga hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted from the Jasper Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Central time on Friday, February 1.  Interment will be in New Hope Cemetery.

The family will receive friends for visitation from 5-8 p.m. Central on Thursday, January 31 at the funeral home.

Red Bank Finalizes 20-Cent Property Tax Increase

The Red Bank commissioners voted Tuesday night to adopt the fiscal year 2018-2019 budget that includes a property tax increase. Mayor John Roberts said that along with the increase in both commercial and residential development, comes increased traffic.
