Denami To Take Over County Lobbying Duties

  • Thursday, January 31, 2013

Hamilton County is paying veteran Nashville lobbyist Will Denami to take over lobbying duties for the county at the General Assembly.

Public Works Administrator Dan Wade has been handling the legislative relations, but he is retiring.

County Mayor Jim Coppinger said Mr. Denami represents assessors across the state, among others.

He said he will be providing a weekly status update to county officials.

Mr. Denami will be paid a flat $20,000, which County Mayor Coppinger said is the same amount that was set aside for expenses and travel for Mr.

Wade.
