Dalton Police Asking Public's Help In Fatal Crash

The Dalton Police Department’s Traffic Enforcement Unit is asking for the public’s help.  The unit is currently investigating a motor vehicle crash that resulted in a fatality.  The crash occurred on Tuesday at approximately 5 p.m.  The vehicle involved was a blue 1984 Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck. 

Evidence at the scene suggests the truck was headed west on Grace Street when it left the roadway for an unknown reason and struck a concrete retaining wall near the intersection of Grace Street and Needham Drive.

Anyone who may have witnessed the crash or was on Grace Street at the time of the crash is asked to contact PFC Cantrell, of the TEU, at 706.278-9085, ext 160.
