A Red Bank man who allegedly planned to throw Molotov cocktails at the Red Bank Police Station is now facing federal charges.
A criminal information charges John Lewis Mills, 25, with failure to register a firearm.
He is being represented by attorney Lee Davis.
Mills was allegedly planning to attack the police station because he was upset over his girlfriend's arrest for DUI.
He was arrested around 3 a.m. sitting in his car near the police station.
He faces state charges of a terroristic act, DUI and possessing prohibited weapons.
