Comfortably Numb - And Response (2)

  • Friday, January 4, 2013

Is there anybody out there? Or, have we all become comfortably numb? The apex of hypocrisy? The nadir of morality?

Does one laugh or cry at something so totally incongruous as this sale to a media company sponsored by one of the largest carbon footprints in existence? Of course, Big Al isn't concerned , laughing his way to the bank , no doubt, but , what the blazes is happening to our country?

Every cloud has a silver lining , and perhaps this one has its own: Al Jazeera will probably broadcast a more truthful version of the U.S.A. than does any of the big stations. One can only hope.

Al Gore’s sale of US communications assets to our known enemies that govern by Sharia Law is an act of treason in my opinion.

I am not numb yet. Gore cites that this was a business decision, and was not illegal. Do we need laws that specifically cite, “don’t throw your country under a bus?”

Hutch, God and Country have left the building.

Kudos to Time Warner for dropping Current TV after their sale to Al-Jazeera.

I have already contacted Comcast (who owns 10 percent) and DirecTv telling them that I will cancel my service with them if they decide to carry Al-Jazeera.

It's bad enough that we are in debt up to our eyeballs, borrowing money to give away to our enemies in Pakistan and everywhere else. Now we are selling our media to these anti-American groups. Way to go Al, I consider you a traitor and you should suffer the destiny of all traitors.
