Lois Welsh, 91, of Chattanooga, died on January 3, 2013.

Born to the late Bernard M. Welsh and Elizabeth McCown Welsh, she grew up and attended schools in Fayetteville, Tn. Upon graduation from Erskine College in 1944, she moved to Chattanooga after accepting a job with TVA, where she worked until her retirement.

For many years she was an active member of Central Presbyterian Church.  When Central closed, she became a member of Northside Presbyterian Church.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Clifford J. M. Welsh; two sisters, Evelyn Welsh Copeland and Hazel Welsh Clark; and nephew Dennie M. Welsh.

Surviving are many much-loved nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. CST on Monday, Jan. 7, in Rose Hill Cemetery in Fayetteville, Tn.

There will not be any visitation at the funeral home.

Arrangements are by the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory, and Florist, 404 South Moore Road.
