Bill Hill, 81, of Jasper, TN, died Saturday, January 5, 2013, in Chattanooga.
He was a retiree of DuPont and had served as a Marion County Commissioner and Circuit Court Clerk. He was also Past Master of Marion Lodge #515 F. & A.M and was Past Potentate of Alhambra Shrine. He was a Korean War veteran, a member of Holly Avenue United Methodist Church, and very active in Democrat politics.
Survivors include his wife, Billie Hill of Jasper; and a daughter, Kim H. (Tim) Moore of Smyrna, TN.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 9 at 11 a.m. Central time at Rogers Funeral Home, South Pittsburg, TN. Rev. Joe Moore and Ronnie Case will officiate. Interment will follow at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday, January 8 from 5-9 p.m. Central time with a Masonic memorial service at 7 p.m. Central at the Rogers Funeral Home who has charge of the arrangements.
