Josephine Hancock

Josephine Hancock, of Chattanooga, died on Thursday, January 3, 2013 on her 86^th birthday.

She lived a good portion of her life in Sinclairville, N.Y., and moved to Chattanooga in 1989. Josephine was of the Methodist faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Cleo Kizziah; brothers, Joe and Tom Kizziah; sisters, Lois Dixie Young and Jane Powell.

Survivors are her nieces, Janice Young, Donna Conner and Teri Smith; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 7, at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. in the chapel, with Reverend Jeff Lambert officiating. Interment will follow in Hannah Cemetery, Rising Fawn, Ga.
