Manis, Louise Higdon (Dalton)

Louise Higdon Manis, 71, of Dalton, GA, died on Sunday, January 6, 2013 at Hamilton Medical Center. 

She was the daughter of the late Creed and Nellie Payne Higdon; and was also preceded in death by her daughter, Tammy Green. 

Louise is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Scott Manis and Danny and Tammy Manis; daughter, Melinda Manis; son-in-law, Ricky Green all of Dalton; brothers and sisters-in-law, Tommy and Sharron Higdon of Dalton, Jimmy and Linda Higdon of Tunnel Hill and Grady and Ola Higdon of Tunnel Hill; grandchildren, Jordan Manis, Madison Manis, Chaya Drury, Chase Drury, Blake Manis, Ryan Guinn, Gabby Guinn, Molly Priest and James Green; great-grandchildren, Grayer Guinn and Brooklyn Green; and nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, January 10 in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Dixon and Matt Higdon officiating. Burial will be in Harmony Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home Thursday, January 10 from 4-7 p.m. 

Love Funeral Home, 1402 N. Thornton Ave., Dalton (across from Hamilton Medical Center) is in charge of arrangements.
