Informational Meeting For Highway 58 Enhancement Project Is Jan. 17

The City of Chattanooga (City) is requesting attendance by the general public and business owners of the Highway 58 area for an informational meeting regarding the design and construction of a pocket park, pedestrian facilities as well as streetscapes and landscaping beginning at the intersection of Jersey Pike and Highway 58 to the intersection of Webb Road and Highway 58 with a Q & A session to follow the informational presentation. This project is being constructed to provide connectivity for pedestrian’s from the residential areas to the businesses along Highway 58 while also providing alternative modes of transportation within the project boundaries.      

The meeting date and time is scheduled for 6 p.m., on Thursday, Jan. 17, at Lakeside Academy, 4850 Jersey Pike, Chattanooga, Tn. 37407.

Live Facebook Video Of Gang Members Displaying Guns Results In No Bond For Rollin 100s Crip

A video that was live streamed on Facebook showing several Chattanooga gang members displaying guns has resulted in one of those shown having a no bond placed on him in court. Wilkins Found With 2 Stolen Vehicles After Homeowner Catches Him In Break-In

Authorities said Jesse Lee Wilkins was found with two stolen vehicles after a resident on Thursday caught him stealing items from his residence on Cave Lane. Wilkins, 29, of 2906 E. 43rd St., was charged with aggravated burglary and two counts of theft over $1,000.
