UT Erlanger Cardiology and Erlanger’s Heart and Vascular Services will present Heart Smart Saturday on Feb. 2, from 8 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Erlanger at Volkswagen Drive.
Some of the region’s top experts who will speak at the event include UT Erlanger Cardiology members L. Kendrick Mills, M.D., Walter L. Few, M.D., and J. Carter Hemphill, M.D. along with vascular disease specialist Sachin Phade, M.D. Participants will learn about women and heart disease, screening for heart disease, heart failure and peripheral vascular disease.
Attendees also have the opportunity to participate in free blood pressure and cholesterol screenings from 7-8:30 a.m. A free heart healthy lunch will be provided along with information from special exhibits.
