Man Shot At Convenience Store On 4th Avenue Monday Night

A man was shot Monday night. At 10:01 p.m., Chattanooga Police responded to a shooting that occurred in the 2700 block of 4th Avenue.  

The victim, Alexander Hughlett, 20, had been transported to a local hospital by a personally-owned vehicle for treatment of the non life-threatening wound.  

It was reported to detectives that Mr. Hughlett had just exited a convenience store when the suspect shot him and fled the scene. The case is ongoing and more information will be released when available.

Chattanooga Golf Team Second At Wolf Run Intercollegiate

The Chattanooga Mocs men’s golf team is tied for second after 18 holes at the Wolf Run Intercollegiate.
