Survived Pearl Harbor Attack Aboard U.S. Battleship Nevada

Clyde Davis Bash, 92, of Chattanooga, died on Sunday, January 6, 2013 in Pleasant Hill, Tennessee. 

He was born Feb. 28, 1920, in Somerset, Ky., to the late Clyde H. and Thelma Dades Bash. He was a member of St. John’s United Methodist Church, the Chattanooga Radio Club, the DuPont Retirees, and he was a member of the Alhambra Shrine and a 32nd degree mason. He was a U.S. Navy veteran surviving the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor aboard the U.S. Battleship Nevada.

Survivors include his son, Clyde “Skip” Bash II, daughter-in-law, Barbara Bash, and granddaughter, Michelle Bash.

A private graveside will be held.
