Nora Gorman Knox, 100, of Buffalo, New York, died peacefully on January 9, 2013.  

She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Buffalo, N.Y., and a former member of New Emanuel Baptist Church, Chattanooga.

She is survived by her son, Willie Fisher; daughter, Susie (Jesse) Suttles; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 23 great-great-grandchildren, and one great-great-great-grandson.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 14, in the chapel. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.

The body will lie in state after noon on Sunday, Jan. 13, with the family receiving friends from 4–5 p.m. at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
