Man Shot In Drug Dispute On Rossville Boulevard Tuesday Evening

One man was shot Tuesday evening, and a suspect is being sought in the case. 

Chattanooga Police responded at 6:54 p.m. to a shooting at 4502 Rossville Blvd., where they found the victim, Stephen Underwood, who had been shot in the chest and arm. The injuries were minor and he refused any medical treatment.  

Police said Underwood’s initial statements were inconsistent, but he later admitted the incident was drug-related and that he got into an argument with the suspect who subsequently shot him twice and fled. 

The suspect is a white male, approximately 5’-10” tall and 150 pounds. He was last seen driving a light blue Ford F150.
