Marcia Lou Deland died on Sunday, January 6, 2013 at her residence.

Marcia will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and sister.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Harold Armstrong; and parents, Frank and Irene Pelton Armstrong.

Survivors include her daughter, Jolene (Jim) Motley, grandchildren,Jimmy, Jennifer, Julie Motley; sister, Shirley (Jack) Ewer; brothers, Don (Betty) Armstrong and Denny (Jeanette) Armstrong; sister-in-law, Leila Armstrong; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 11, in the chapel with Reverend Randy Lynn officiating.

Visitation will be on Thursday, Jan. 10, from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mae Emma Bell, 88, departed this life on Thursday, October 13, 2016.  She was affectionately known as “Babe” and was born April 5, 1928 in Athens, Georgia to Harrison and Carrie Jones Handy.   She came to Chattanooga as a teenager and soon united with Phillips Temple CME church, where she served faithfully on the Usher Board for years.    She leaves ... Osun (Kwon) True, 85, of Decatur, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Memorial Hospital of Chattanooga. Domestic Assault Charge Dismissed Against Bobby Stone In Case Involving Mayor's Top Advisor; Stone Says Berke Had Inappropriate Relationship With His Wife; Says Berke And Fletcher Conspired To Arrest Him; Lacie Stone Says Charges Completely False

Firefighters Respond To Residential Fires Friday Night, Early Saturday Morning

Chattanooga firefighters responded to two fires Friday night and early Saturday morning. The first fire occurred around 11 p.m. Friday and was located at 7128 Lea Road.
