Undefeated Oakland fell behind 7-0 early, then stormed back for a 31-7 over Baylor on Friday night.
The Red Raiders marched down the field on the first possession to go ahead by a touchdown.
But the Patriots' powerful offense, built around Fredarius Wade, quickly drove for a score. There was no extra point due to a bad snap.
Oakland converted on a field goal to go ahead 9-7. Baylor appeared to have stalled the next Patriots' drive, but a roughing the kicker penalty gave Oakland a first down. Wade later took it in from the two-yard line.
Oakland scored again on an interception and a short run into the endzone with 40 seconds left in the third quarter.
Wade added another TD to wrap up the scoring as the Murfreesboro team goes 7-0. It was just the second loss for Baylor after a big win over arch-rival McCallie.
