A motorcyclist died in a wreck on Access Road early Monday morning.
It marked the second motorcyclist killed in Chattanooga in three days, and a third incident left a motorcycle passenger in critical condition.
At approximately 12:10 a.m., Chattanooga Police responded to a single-vehicle traffic crash involving a motorcyclist that occurred in the 4600 block of Access Road.
Witness statements and evidence collected at the scene indicate that the motorcyclist drifted to the shoulder of the road, struck the guardrail, and lost control of the motorcycle.
The operator, Larry Clyde Lowe, Jr., 46, was pronounced dead on the scene.
