Grace Heads To District Finals Thursday

The Lady Golden Eagles took a 3-1 semifinal win over Chattanooga School for the Arts and Sciences, Tuesday evening.

Ashley McGee scored for CSAS early in the second half to tie the score 1-1.

Emily Clark connected with Danielle Shumaker in the first half to give Grace the 1-0 lead going into half time.

Clark and Shumaker connected again in the second half as Grace went up 2-1.

Danielle took the hat trick and the final goal with an assist from Maddie Ferrell and sealed the 3-1 win.

Abby Bosco had three saves for Grace.

The Lady Golden Eagles will face McMinn Central Thrusday at 6 p.m. for the Distirct 5 A/AA championship.
