Upward Cheerleading Clinics Offered At Bayside Baptist

Two free Upward Cheerleading clinics to prepare cheerleaders for this coming Upward season will be offered at Bayside Baptist Church, 6100 Highway 58, Harrison. 

Clinic 1 - Cheer Basics will focus on basic cheer motions on Oct 28. Clinic 2 - Cheer Tumbling will focus on basic tumbling on Oct. 29. 

Both clinics will run from 6-8 p.m. in the MS building. Girls will have the opportunity to try on cheer uniforms and register for this season. To sign up, contact lorettadickson@aol.com or erin-nanney@baysidebaptist.org.

Upward Cheer is for girls ages four through eighth grade (girls must be four by Dec. 1). Come and join us and learn to be of good cheer.

Westfield Charged In Burning, Torture Of Kitten At Cleveland

An arrest has been made in the case of a kitten who was burned and tortured in Cleveland, Tn. At 12:50 p.m. on Tuesday, Gary A. Westfield, 31, of Cleveland, was placed in custody on a warrant obtained by Lt. Robert Harbison and Detective Matt Jenkins of the Criminal Investigations Division.
