Rev. Paul To Speak At This Sunday's Services At Middle Valley Church Of God

Middle Valley Church of God, located at 1703 Thrasher Pike in Hixson, announced that Reverend Craig Paul will be speaking in the 10:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. services this Sunday. Rev. Paul recently retired from the United Methodist Church after serving as a pastor for many years.  He presently serves at the Senior Chaplain for Dallas Bay Volunteer Fire Department and as an instructor for Turning Point Ministries.  Recently he led the Senior Adult group of Middle Valley Church of God in a gathering which will take place on a monthly basis.

City Council Approves Short Term Vacation Rental District In 7-1 Vote

The City Council on Tuesday night voted 7-1 to set up a district where short term vacation rentals will be allowed. Only Councilwoman Demetrus Coonrod was opposed. Chairman Jerry Mitchell was absent.
