3 People Injured In Bradley County Accident Wednesday Afternoon

Three people were injured in an accident Wednesday afternoon in Bradley County.

The Bradley County Emergency Medical Service was dispatched by the Cleveland/Bradley 911 Center to a two-car crash on Harrison Pike shortly after 3 p.m. on Wednesday. The accident was between Harrison Trail and Bancroft Road. 

One vehicle was a Jeep Cherokee on its side with a female trapped inside. EMS responded with two ambulances and a shift commander. The 55-year-old female was evaluated and treated by EMS responders. She was stabilized in the ambulance, and it was determined that she required transport to a level one trauma center. Air medical was requested to come to the scene. Bradley County Fire and Rescue secured a landing zone for the helicopter to land. The female patient was in serious condition and flown to Erlanger Medical Center. 

Two other patients were transported to Sky Ridge Medical Center by Bradley County EMS. 

The entire road was shut down for a period of time. The accident is under investigation.
