The speaker for the Christian Education Wednesday Evening on Wednesday at St. Paul's Episcopal Chuh,. 805 West 7th St., will be Jim Ogden, historian of Chickamauga-Chattanooga National Military Park, who will speak at 7 p.m. in the Nave on "Chattanooga's Churches Under Siege, 1862-63," a look at Chattanooga and its religious communities during the Civil War, a part of the National Park Service's series of 150th Civil War Commemoration events. The event is open to all.
On Saturday, Oct. 26, at 11 a.m., Father Stephen Freeman, rector of St. Anne Orthodox Church in Oak Ridge,Tenn., will speak on "Icons in a One-Storey Universe." The Icon exhibit will be open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
On Sunday, Oct. 27, at 4 p.m., Friends of Music Artists Series will feature an organ concert with Jason Farris, the Paul Reynolds Organ Scholar and Assisting Organist at Sewanee, the University of the South. A reception will follow in Key-Andrews Hall. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students.
