Karen Walsh Leaving McKamey Animal Center

Karen Walsh is leaving her post as executive director of the McKamey Animal Center to take a position with PetSmart Charities.

She will be working with the Rescue Waggin program. It is a national job working with shelters around the country.

The move comes after the mayor's office recently launched an audit of the animal center that is funded by the city.

Several board members have recently resigned.
