The Dalton State men’s golf team will wrap-up its first ever fall schedule with a trip to Paris Landing State Park in extreme northwest Tennessee.
The Roadrunner linksters will travel north, almost to Kentucky, to play in the Skyhawk Fall Classic, hosted by U.T. Martin. Coach Ben Rickett’s squad is coming off of an impressive fourth place tie in the Chic-Fil-A Invitational in Rome, Ga.
The 16 participating teams have an opportunity for a practice round on Sunday. The two-day, 54-hole tournament begins with two rounds of golf on Monday.
Jerry Carpenter, golf coach at U.T. Martin, says Monday’s shotgun start will be from 8:00 until 8:15 a.m. CDT. Tuesday will also see a shotgun start. Tee-time will be 8:30 a.m. CDT. Carpenter said awards will be presented immediately following play on Tuesday.
Most of the teams playing in the event are new to the Roadrunners.
