Weekly Road Closures

The northbound curb lane of the 2000 block of Gunbarrel Road will be closed for approximately six hours for a utility connection installation on Tuesday, beginning at 9 a.m.

The curb lane of northbound Georgia Avenue and the eastbound curb lane of 4th Avenue will be closed for a building maintenance project on Wednesday between 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m.  

The 5000 block of Adams Road between Mandarin Circle and Marsh Lane will be closed for a sewer repair project on Wednesday beginning at 9 a.

m.  The closure will last approximately six hours.  Detours will be posted.

Photos Wanted Of Local Vietnam War Heroes Killed In Action

Harr Outlines $40 Million Plan For Chattanooga Light Rail System

Outgoing Chamber of Commerce President Ron Harr on Monday outlined a $40 million plan for a Chattanooga light rail system that would serve not only downtown, but also the Airport and the Enterprise South Industrial Park.
