1st-Centenary United Methodist Hosts 70+ Luncheon On Nov. 1

A 70+ Luncheon will be held at First-Centenary United Methodist Church, 410 McCallie Ave., on Friday, Nov. 1, at noon. 

With the title, "Up, Up And Away," the luncheon will be in the Oak Street Center with door prizes and a guest speaker, Dr. Paul McDaniel.

Dr. Doug Fairbanks will speak at the 8:30 and 10:45 a.m. sanctuary services on the topic, "In God We Trust?" with text from Luke 18:9-14. Using the same text, the Rev.

Brian Davis will speak in The Vine at 10:45 a.m. on "Good to Great."

CSAS Teacher Who Was Once Reported Missing Facing DUI Charge

A teacher at Chattanooga School for the Arts and Sciences, who recently was reported missing and then was spotted, has now been arrested.
