UTC Men's Tennis Team Drops 4-3 Match To Belmont

For the second straight day, the Chattanooga Mocs men’s tennis went down to the wire before falling 4-3 to a regional rival.  Today’s loss came at the hands of Belmont at the Hixson Racquet Club. “I know it was another tough 4-3 decision today but in reality our team played really well even though we didn’t have a great doubles performance,” stated head coach Carlos Garcia. ... Moc Wrestlers Dominate VMI 35-3

The Chattanooga Mocs put on another dominating performance in Southern Conference action at Maclellan Gym today.  UTC won nine of 10 matches in a 35-3 victory against VMI (6-6, 3-2 SoCon).  Chattanooga celebrated Senior Day in impressive fashion, only allowing five takedowns in the nine contested matches.  UTC improved to 8-5 overall and 4-0 in SoCon matches.  ... Deonta Banks, 23, Shot On Wilcox Boulevard Early Sunday Morning

Deonta Banks, 23, was shot early Sunday morning on Wilcox Boulevard. At approximately  3 a.m.  the Chattanooga Police Department responded to shots fired at 3232 Wilcox Boulevard.  Upon arrival, Chattanooga police located a single victim, Deonta Banks, suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound. Man Stabbed In Domestic Dispute On Sunrise Lane Saturday Morning

A man was stabbed Saturday morning on Sunrise Lane.   At approximately  11:41  a.m., the Chattanooga Police Department responded to a reported stabbing at 309 Sunrise Lane.  Officers located a 45-year-old black male suffering from a non-life threatening stab wound.
