Funeral Services Saturday For Wrigley Worker Who Died In Fall

Funeral services will be Saturday for a 34-year-old woman who died in an accident at the Wrigley plant.

Police said Mandie Rachael Chitwood was on a ladder performing her duties when a forklift backed into the ladder, causing her to fall.

The incident is being investigated by the Tennessee Occupational Safety and Health Administration.

Ms. Chitwood was a 1997 graduate of Ringgold High School. An outstanding softball player, she attended Calvary Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Josh Chitwood, and their son, Dylan Chitwood.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home, Battlefield Parkway, with Brother Dwight Martin officiating. Entombment will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. ,
