Bum's The Word Diaper Drive Is Nov. 7

  • Friday, October 25, 2013

Bum’s the Word Diaper Drive is a diaper drive to benefit the Family Violence Center at the Partnership for Families, Children & Adults. There is a large number of children in the program right now and there is a constant need for diapers in the shelter. The Partnership provides anything that these women and their children may need, free of charge, and rely solely on donations.

The event will be held at Chuck E. Cheese’s, next to Northgate, from 3-9 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 7. Families are invited to bring their kids, bring a pack of diapers (sizes 3, 4 and 5 preferred) and support women and children affected by domestic violence.

In addition, Chuck E. Cheese’s is donating 15 percent of all food, drink and token sales and there will be a raffle for a gift basket full of donated items from local business, such as gift cards and tickets to the Creative Discovery Museum.
