Funeral services will be Monday for a 36-year-old Hixson woman who was killed in a single-vehicle wreck on Friday night in Walker County.
Stephanie Lynn Parrott died in the wreck just before 10 p.m. on Georgia Highway 151, a mile north of Georgia 95. The Georgia State Patrol said a Jeep driven by Ms. Parrott was traveling south on Highway 151 when it went off the road, hit a culvert and went airborne. She was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the vehicle.
Ms. Parrott was a graduate of Central High School and received her bachelor's degree from UTC. She was working as a registered nurse at Moccasin Bend Mental Health Institute.
Survivors include her father, Stephen Brumlow of Soddy Daisy; mother, Connie (Reece) Lowrance of Chattanooga; son, Wesley Parrott of Hixson; fiancé, Dusty Winkles of LaFayette; brother, William Stephen Brumlow of Hixson; granddaughter, Elaina Hope Parrott, stepdaughter, Cecily Agner; and former husband, Ansel Parrott of Hixson.
Funeral services will be Monday at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with John Mullin and Jeff Gann officiating. Arrangements are by Legacy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 8911 Dallas Hollow Road, Soddy Daisy.
