Battle Academy Has Battle Banzai Festival Saturday

Battle Banzai: The Greatest Show on Main takes place on Saturday from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. The circus-themed signature festival will be held on the school's campus at 1601 Market St. (the corner of Main and Market Streets).  

Admission is free; family fun, children's games and activities, and inflatables are available for a nominal ticket price. Food will be available for purchase from Southern Burger Company, The Muenster Truck, Chick-fil-A and more.  

A silent auction will feature original art, gift cards to local restaurants and attractions, and closet installation by Chattanooga Closet Company along with local vendors offering their wares. Entertainment will include aerial dancers, a fire eater, big band music from Tabernacle and the Battle Chorus. 

The public is invited to participate in the festival.

Chattanoogans In Action for Love, Equality and Benevolence (CALEB) will host a one-day community organizing training on March 10. The event will take place at Iron Workers’ Hall, 2715 Belle Arbor Ave. in Chattanooga, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., with a lunch included. Daisy Elementary Evacuated After Bomb Threat

Daisy Elementary School was evacuated on Friday, after a threatening message about a bomb was found on a wall.
